Yes. Zapier MCP runs on mcp.zapier.com, so you'll need a Zapier account to connect the apps and generate the token. Once it's pasted into FastBots, the bot can use the actions you've enabled.

No. The bot only has access to the actions you've enabled in FastBots. If a visitor asks for something the agent can't do, it falls back to a normal reply or hands to a human through Live Chat on Business plan and above. We'd rather it say 'I'll get someone to follow up' than fabricate a booking that didn't happen.

Standard Zapier and Make workflows are event-driven, a lead form fires a Zap after the chat, or a Zap queries the bot from outside. Zapier MCP is in-conversation: the bot decides mid-chat that an action is needed, runs it, and uses the result in its next reply. Both have their place, and you can use them together.

Yes. Whatever actions you've enabled work wherever the bot runs, web widget, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Messenger, Telegram and Slack. A booking the bot makes on WhatsApp lands in the same calendar as one it makes on the website.

Yes. Connect Shopify through Zapier MCP like any other app, then pick the Shopify actions you want the bot to use, such as looking up an order or checking its status. The bot can then handle those inside the conversation. As always, the action set is whatever you enable in Zapier.
