Inside Squarespace, head to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection. Paste the FastBots snippet into the Header field and click Save. Refresh your site and the chat icon should appear in the bottom-right corner. You only need to do this once; the widget then runs on every page automatically.

To use Code Injection across the whole site, Squarespace requires their Business plan or higher. If you're on a lower tier, you can still set up a FastBots bot and share it through a direct chat link, but you won't be able to embed the widget on every page.

You've got two routes. The simplest is to have the chatbot answer questions about your services and packages, then point the visitor at your Squarespace Scheduling link to finish booking themselves. If you want the bot to actually book the slot inside the chat, connect your scheduling or calendar tool through Zapier MCP. With that connected, the bot can create the appointment right in the conversation across the apps you've linked. The action set depends on what you connect.

With Zapier MCP connected, the bot can write the lead straight into your CRM, Google Sheets, Mailchimp or another connected app mid-conversation, as soon as the details are captured. If you prefer something simpler, a standard Zapier or Make workflow can fire after the chat ends and send the details on. Either way works; the live route just depends on which apps you connect.
