The ones we hear most before teams sign up. If yours isn’t here, our support team replies within hours during business days.

Yes. The widget is a small JavaScript snippet that loads independently of your theme. You paste it into the theme's header or custom code field through Extensions → Themes, and it appears across every page. If your theme has a non-standard header structure, you can paste it directly into the relevant template file.

No — that deep, live API connection is currently only available for Shopify stores. For OpenCart, the chatbot answers from your trained content: product pages, descriptions, shipping rules and FAQ pages it crawled. It's accurate for anything written on those pages, but it won't quote live stock levels or order status unless you've added that into the training.
+
Not directly. FastBots doesn't have a native OpenCart order-lookup integration, so the bot can't fetch a specific order in real time. The practical setup is to explain your standard dispatch timeline, then hand the shopper to live chat or your support email when they need an actual order looked up.
+
No. The chatbot supports the buying decision — it answers questions, captures leads and points shoppers at the right product — but it doesn't take payments or move customers through checkout. The shopper still adds to cart and checks out through OpenCart as normal.

On the Business plan ($89/month) and above, you can turn on live chat. When the bot can't answer or the shopper asks for a human, it offers a handover. A team member claims the chat in the FastBots dashboard, sees the full conversation and replies in real time. You set availability hours so it only offers handover when someone's around.
+
No, and we wouldn't pitch it as that. It's there to handle the repetitive pre-sale questions — shipping, returns, sizing, policy — so your team has time for the conversations that need judgement. Refunds, complaints and goodwill calls should still go through real people.
+
When the lead form is filled in, FastBots emails the details to one or more addresses you configure. If you want them in a CRM, a spreadsheet or an email list, connect FastBots through Zapier or Make and the lead is pushed there once the chat ends.

The free plan gives you 1 chatbot and 50 messages a month with no credit card. Essential is $39/month with 2,000 messages and integrations including Zapier, Make and WhatsApp. Business is $89/month and adds live chat handover, email replies and auto-retrain. See the pricing page for the current limits and add-ons.
+
Yes. On Business plan and above, auto-retrain refreshes selected pages daily, weekly or monthly, so when you update a shipping rate or a returns policy the bot picks it up. On lower plans you can retrain manually whenever you change something significant.

FastBots supports around 95 languages. If a shopper writes in German or Spanish, the bot can reply in the same language using your trained content. Useful for OpenCart stores running multi-language storefronts.
